Day 18: Progress Report

Here’s what happened on Day 17:

Breakfast

Cleansing juice of beets (1.5 pounds), apples (2 pounds), lemon (1 whole)

Lunch

Watermelon (6 pounds whole)

Celery hearts

Dinner

Vegan St. Patrick’s Day!  (kale sald, faux-tuna, etc. provided by the wonderful folks at Que SeRaw SeRaw and Earthbeam)

Diet Plan

80/10/10 Raw Vegan (modified slightly to include an occasional McDougall-style cooked meal)

The St. Patty’s Day dinner was at the home of one of the folks who work at Earthbeam and they were so cool and accommodating about my new raw vegan kick.  So far people have been more curious and helpful than hostile (though hostility towards veganism is certainly out there …)
